  If Arthur Bryant is the King of Kansas City BBQ, these ladies are the Queens.
      The building is small and looks like it use to be a shed for the bar next door. The train tracks are across the street and the area is busy.
      When I walked up I was greeted by one of the ladies working the smoker. She said "hey sweetie how are you" it made me feel like I was home or one of the family. I decided to get the lunch special which was a pork sandwich with fries and beans. The lady working the window was very nice and showed me my food before I paid. I sat down at one of the picnic tables and said please let this be good cause I wanna love this place. The sandwich was incredible, meat was tender and broke apart with each bite. Great flavor and right amount of smoke  the fries were ok but not my favorite, the beans were good not great but good. The sauce was fantastic. The owners came over and asked how I was enjoying the food.
  
      It was relaxing sitting outside in the sun eating great bbq, while the sound of the passing train echoed through the air. God bless these beautiful women and please don't ever change a thing.

  Jones BBQ sits on the old K-32 Highway aka Kaw Drive. Happy Foods West is it's neighbor to the East.
  
  Now about the BBQ: unfortunately I was not able to taste everything they have to offer due to the fact that they sell out so fast! I did get a Ham & Turkey sandwich and I have to say it was about average. Nothing to exciting or fancy about that, so I give it 3 stars. The sides were good, but once again nothing to rave about.
  
  Overall, I give it a 4 star rating due to the fact that while standing in line other patrons were eating the beef, burnt ends, and ribs, which all looked and smelled great! The ambiance of the establishment is great and it is exactly what visitors should expect from a mom & pop BBQ joint in Kansas City! Jones in KCK isn't one of your Big Box franchises, so if your expecting that kind of BBQ then this is not your place. The Pit Master smokes the meats right if front of you in the smoker right next to the restaurant. The new front patio is cool and a nice place to munch down your lunch. I'll definitely be coming back to try and get my hands on some of their other menu items! They sell out fast, so here early!

  We got there when they had just sold out of most of their selections. They were super friendly and inviting. The turkey was ok, the ribs were tasty. We will probably go back to try more options.
  
  Great place for a clear day to eat outside and enjoy some tasty bbq.

  I saw these ladies first on a clip from the Steve Harvey show, then on QE!!!! They're the nicest ladies around! I got a bunch of food. I loved the Chicken Wings and the Ribs! I thought I ordered burnt ends, but what I got was a bunch of chopped up meat in a bun, so maybe there's just a sandwich? I'm not sure, but that was just okay to me. I bought the sauce to come home and I really do like the sauce!

  What else is there to say except TRULY AMAZING! These women work so hard to to provide top quality KC BBQ and it shows. The burnt ends are delicious. The brisket is tender. The ribs are juicy. THE SAUCE IS TO DIE FOR! Get here as early as you can cause they run out of meat fast. A must have for true BBQ fans.
